In a race, all the runners run, but only one gets the prize...run in such a way as to get the prize. Everyone who competes...goes into strict training to get trophies. Trophies don't last, but a faith-filled grace-bought life lasts forever. Therefore, I do not run the race of life like a man running aimlessly. [paraphrase of 1 Corinthians 9.24-26]
